Opening up to someone else about our challenges and personal lives can be daunting, yet it can empower us to bring about meaningful change in ourselves and our relationships. Although there is now a lot of information and knowledge about mental health, we still face challenges to put what we know to practice and make tangible changes in our lives. Ms. Angelova's approach is grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity to make empowered choices and positive changes in their lives. A conversation is a great first step!

Ms. Angelova's journey into counselling began with pursuing Psychology at University and starting her career in education in Singapore in 2011, where she taught both adolescent and adult learners. Supporting the students through their personal challenges led her to pursue further education in counselling. Ms. Angelova's experience in full-time counselling includes working in a secondary school for close to 8 years, focusing on social-emotional counselling and overseeing the career guidance programme.

Ms. Angelova specialises in working with adolescents and her area of focus are gifted and high ability students and adults and their social emotional challenges. When working with adolescents, she takes a proactive approach to support the parents and family.
