Content Mastery
To master the General Paper components, namely, Argumentative Essay, Comprehension, Summary and Application Question, students will strengthen their knowledge of current affairs with our comprehensive content packs that include a wide range of case studies on topics like Globalisation and Social Issues, Politics, Media, Arts and Philosophy. They will also practise answering different A-Level question types to familiarise themselves with the content requirements.
Skills and Techniques
Students will identify and analyse different essay and comprehension question types to use the appropriate answering strategies to fulfil the question requirements. They will also critically evaluate viewpoints and lines of reasoning presented in written texts, before organising their arguments, backed by relevant evidence and examples, and presenting them in a coherent and logical manner.
Revision and Reinforcement
Split between special workshop lessons and content lessons, we will recap key content points for various topics previously tested in the A-Level examinations, so students can learn to apply their content knowledge with accuracy and relevance, while reviewing vital exam strategies, such as question analysis, writing organisation, answering techniques and time management, for students to perform optimally during the exam.

Content Mastery
Largely focusing on the statistics component, which includes topics such as Discrete Random Variable, Distributions of Random Variable, Sampling, Hypothesis Testing, Correlation and Regression, our students will master the concepts and theories behind these statistics topics for deeper understanding and effective application.
Skills and Techniques
Our programme exposes students to a variety of question types so they can learn to identify the statistics topics related to each question and integrate their knowledge of different topics clearly into the answer.
This helps students develop their critical thinking and application skills while allowing them to practise using the statistics-related functions available on the Graphic Calculator (GC) to evaluate answers more efficiently.
Revision and Reinforcement
At this stage, students will focus on mastering topics through topical revision packages, which include past-year exam questions, with varying difficulty.
By learning to recognise question types, identify important markers and apply effective strategies to answer questions, students will be better able to solve real-world context questions that require integrating multiple concepts.
With regular targeted practices on specific question types, students will also hone key examination skills like time management.
Hear What They Say About TLL
Because the difference we make is why we do what we do.
Denise Lai
"A determined and kind teacher who never gave up on her students, Ms Shu truly inspired me and all my classmates to work harder and never give up. Without any expectation of recognition, Ms Shu has been our light when we were shrouded in darkness.
I can confidently say that Ms Shu is definitely the best teacher that I have ever met, and I believe that most of my success can be credited to her and TLL.
Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to TLL and my teachers for never giving up on me. Without them, I would never dare to dream of where I am today, and I would never have achieved the results I have today."
Serene Peh
"I remember my first lesson with TLL.
I really loved the lesson; it was engaging and interesting. In every lesson there’s something new and my teacher used to draw things to help us understand difficult concepts more easily.
I always felt that I was learning a lot and it made me curious to keep finding out more."
