The March holidays is not only an exciting time for you and your child, but for us too at The Learning Lab.
That’s because, in collaboration with the Gardens by the Bay Children’s Festival, we are excited to present to you The Lab Before Time — where fun, dinosaur-themed activities await you and your little palaeontologist!
From building their own dinosaur terrariums to digging out mini dinosaurs from a life-sized excavation pit, here’s a peek at what the kids can get into this March holidays.
Did you know you only need to water terrariums once in every 3 months? Besides guiding the students on how to build a dinosaur-themed terrarium, our teachers also introduced Science concepts such as ecosystem and water cycle to make the workshops more enriching.
Children of all ages are welcome to try their hand at crafting their very own terrarium.
Our little palaeontologist can revel in the fun of uncovering the hidden dinosaurs in a life-sized excavation pit. They even get to choose their favourite dino to bring home!
Aren't these dinosaurs adorable? Don't forget to snap a shot or capture a boomerang video when you visit us!
Here’s a little secret: these workshops are adaptations of actual Science lessons and holiday workshops that our students enjoy at The Learning Lab.
At TLL, our Science programmes focus on fostering a passion and genuine interest for the subject through the use various activities such as experiments and hands-on projects. Your child will not only learn about new topics through written exercises but also have plenty of opportunities to pick up techniques for scientific inquiry through observation and first-hand experience.
